Speaking as a long-time Tigers fan (since way back to the Chuck Taylor days) but one marooned in Scotland (although hoping to re-locate to Shropshire in the medium-term future) I'd love to hear more gossip and opinion about the line-up so far assembled. Plus your wishes for imports you'd like to see.

I've seen Preece in a couple of games (though not with much ice-time) but he looked a pretty confident player. Tom has set Tigers up with a good full line-up of young Brits so far, the envy of many teams I'd guess. Let's hope he can pull in a couple of good imports to galvanise this group. Personally I hope he can find guys who are prepared to play to the Brits' strengths rather than plough their own furrows, so to speak. A younger version of Reggie, perhaps? And get some full practice sessions in. Good luck Tom, I'm looking forward to seeing some Tigers' games this season.

I have talked to quite a few of our fans recently, and everyone seems pretty excited about the forthcoming season. I know that I certainly am.
Every comment I have seen about James Preece has been very positive, which is good to see.
I am really hoping that the team will gel quickly as, from the signings that I have seen so far, I think that the league will be a lot closer this year, and if we can get off to a good start, and don't lose too many players to international commitments, I can't see any reason why we could not have at least a fighting chance of making the play-offs.
