Does this mean more money for another import?

Does this mean more money for another import? No, this is a programme deal only.

How much money are we short of for a new import? If we have a figure maybe some of the fans can try and sort something out?

Thats a really hard question to answer. If Tom wanted another import it would depend on what personal terms were requested. For instance, if a guy wanted £400 per week, with 18 weeks left of the season, that would cost the club £7200 or 40 more adults attending each game .. also assuming the import didn't require flights and accommodation ... then you could add another £2500. Of course, these figures are purely narative. There is no set rate. Imports aside, anything the fans can do to help raise funds is always appreciated.

I think Shrek may have tried to get something similar off the ground, but wonder if their is now the scope (now that people have seen the team) for a number of fans to commit to a fund to support a 4th import?
MK do it with great success (a group of about 50 fans pay for 1-2 players) and I was contacted by Bracknell last year advising that the 'Bee Keepers' club do exactly the same and it would be a good idea for us to consider.
40 fans at an agreed amount each a week could (potentially) equal an extra body or two, especially with teams now making changes and both Brits and imports presently in the country looking for teams. Still potentially additional accomodation and registration fees to find though - but an idea none the less :-)

Zoetermeer Panthers in the Dutch Elite League have folded...whilst it's sad to see any team fold, perhaps this means there are a few potential imports without a team? Could we get them "on the cheap" because of the limited roster spots left across Europe?

To be honest, with the way that the team are playing lately, do we need another import?
I know having a full complement of imports would be nice, but would we be better off saving the money this year and putting it towards next year?
It's not just the wages that I'm thinking of, we'd have to find accommodation for them too.
With Ash Stanton hopefully on the mend and Tomas Janak, who has proved that he can play front or back as we need him to, I am just not sure that we need another import this year.
