I use Elite Prospects to check up on the latest stats and to "scout" imports who are new to the UK before they play a game here. It is a good resource that covers a wide range of leagues, however it's not without its flaws...it lists Chuck Taylor as having been born in London! No stat site is perfect it would seem. That's probably because he WAS born in London, that's why he was a dual National and not classed as a full import playing over here. His parents moved to Canada when he was a baby if I recall. Wow, I stand corrected. You learn something new every day

Think we really need to undertake a poll amongst fans to find out who the think was the greatest player of all time to wear a Tigers shirt. with categories of greatest forward, defenceman, goalie, best Brit and best import, maybe most entertaining player ever, its open for forum users to debate the categories. would perhaps be a small sample on the forum, suggest a poll from fans at home games, utilise the desks in the foyer or voting slips in the programme. could even throw it open to to other teams for there input on the various forums, just my idea folks open to friends on the forum to discuss. then could publish the result on this forum and in the programme. Just nice i think to do something to mark 25 years anniversary. Using the two sites previously mentioned really helps i think to cast peoples mind back. What do you think folks?
