Copied from the Tigers Website:- www.telfordtigers.com/news/930-teamnews-new-look-tigers-take-to-ice.htmlWelcome back to Tom and Andrejs, I think that we have missed both players a lot. I think it's also very good news that Ross Hanlon has signed on a more permanent basis, he has impressed me when I've seen him play. I am looking forward to seeing Nathan Salem play. I have been told good things about him. Another GB U-20 player for the Tigers. Can't be bad.

I don't think McKenzie would go to Edinburgh full-time because of his TCAT commitments, but if he misses Tigers' games because of the deal it will be a huge blow as he is our best forward.

Scott is on a 2 way deal. He is playing for the Tigers tomorrow and Tigers will remain his home club.

Did Nathan Salem's dad play hockey at one time? Chris played NM with the Durham Wasps many moons ago and has been a great coach for many yrs with the juniors, Conference and Eng U16s which he is still a part.

Salem needs to hit the gym badly - there's only one player i've ever seen play look more tired and that was 40something Ed Courtenay. Absolutely shocking he's been allowed to get into that shape as he has so much potential as a player. However as has been shown his attitude is questionable - Danny Stewart gave him time to fix his fitness and he did not, hence his sacking from the Vipers.

Nathen performed perfectly well in Peterborough for us, made some hits, caused the D some problems and got off a few decent shots.
Match fitness and conditioning doesn't always mirror the way a player actually looks. Nathen couldn't have been in too bad a shape to have helped GB win Bronze in Belarus, returning 1+1 from the 4th line in 5 games.
