from each EPL club that you would have on your dream team.
Mine would be:
Basingstoke - Nicky Chinn. He's a wind up merchant and makes my blood boil at times but he's a damn good player.
Bracknell - Nicky Watt. The obvious choice would be either Cesky or Pinc, but I'm not sure whether they'd be as effective if they weren't playing together. For that reason I've gone for Watt. Bit of a goon but with 48 points in 44 games this season he can also put the numbers up.
Guildford - Miroslav Hala. .921 save % this season makes him the best goalie in the league for me.
Manchester - Tony Hand. Legend.
MK - Gary Clarke. Would love to see him back in a Tigers jersey.
Peterborough - Dwayne Newman. One of the best D men I've seen play in this league.
Sheffield - Janis Ozolins. Scores for fun most nights.
Slough - Adam Calder. 35 points in 16 EPL games? You'd be mad not to want him on your team!
Swindon - James Knight. Brilliant all round player.
Ourselves - Scott McKenzie. No disrespect to the other Tigers players of course, but Scott has really impressed me this season.

Basingstoke - Viktor Kubenko. Makes the game look so easy, scores for fun and makes it look effortless. Bracknell - Jaroslav Cesky. Hard to choose between him and Pinc, but Cesky would win for me. Faster, better knack for scoring and the more likeable of the two. Guildford - Martin Hasa. Has more quality than the rest of the Guildford side, makes the goal look huge. Manchester - Greg Wood. Bit of a odd choice from a team with Hand and the likes, but what I love about him is the work rate. Constantly puts pressure on the puck carrier no matter where abouts on the ice and a vital type of player to any team. Bring him here next season please MK - Haven't seen much of MK this year but it would have to be Emersic based on the impact he's had since moving from Slough. Peterborough - Darius Lelenas. Stand out player for them, should really be in a better team. Sheffield - Janis Ozolins for me aswell. Too good for this league and most definately the Steeldogs, the perfect import in my opinion. Slough - Probably Jan Krajicek. Solid D-man with a brutal slap shot and passing vision. Swindon - Tough one as there is no stand out player, would probably go with Bauba on what I've seen. Good import to bring in aswell as Hoog. Ourselves - Hard call between McKenzie or Tom, would probably go with Watkins though because of how bigger part he is in the team. He is relied upon to produce in defense and attack aswell as coaching a side on a miniscule budget. Haven't picked a netminder in there as none of them stand out as great players, if I had to choose I'd have Ben Bowns from Sheffield.

Mine are -
Basingstoke - Kubenko - big, powerful and hard to deal with once he gets a head of steam up
Bracknell - Cesky
Guildford - No-one really stands out for me so default would be Hala or Rempel. If I'm short of D men perhaps Lundin.
Manchester - Kristofferson - could do with cutting out some of the unnecessary aspects of his game but a definite match winner
MK - Hollyhead / Mettam - Best netminding combo in the league IMO
Peterborough - Carlon
Sheffield - Bowns and Ozolins are quality but I'm going to be controversial and go with Payette. Not because of his hockey ability (obviously!) but because of what he's done to the spirit of the Steeldogs team.
Slough - No-one stands out and, for me, no obvious default, so as I'm struggling for D men I'd go with Krajicek
Swindon - Hoog
Tigers - McKenzie is IMO the genuine article in our team. If I was short of D men it would be a toss up between Tom and Tomas and I'd probably go with Tomas as goals shouldn't be a problem with the forwards I've picked already.

Basingtoke - Kubenko I think he's a top import for this league and he makes the game look so easy
Bracknell - Waller, I think this kid has a great future in the game
Guildford - Towe just think hes fantastic
Manchester - Miller, would love to see him in a tigers shirt again
MK - Brittle, bring him back to play with his younger brother
Peterborough - Carlon, as much as he gets on my nerves when he plays you can't take it away that he is a fantastic player
Sheffield - Brittle, Would love to see the three Brittles line up in the same team
Slough - Calder, how people are saying there is nobody that stands out he's the man
Swindon - Knight, fantastic player who offers so much
Tigers - The whole team...but if I had to pick one player it would be so tough but I would probably say Luke Brittle this kid has a bright future and will be putting him big points soon enough.
I've picked players on the basis that you could only stick with 4 imports, and that would be keeping Thomas and Andrejs.
I really think Andrejs has started to hit some form and learnt the EPL game and is starting to come good now.

...you know you've got 5 imports there Mr C :-)
Cesky, Huppe, Zatopek, Newman and Shepherd.
Also didn't realise that Ozolins was classed as a Brit? Anybody know where he trained in the UK to be classed as non-import in EIHA eyes? That's interesting...

Not too sure if Ozolins qualifies as a non-import. Iceman has him down as an import and it doesn't say on his Elite Prospects page that he's dual national.

Dual nationality doesn't apply to the EPL and EIHA, quite simply in order to qualify as a 'Brit' in the EPL you have to have trained as a junior in the UK development system for 2yrs or more. If you have done this you are classed as a Brit and do not have import status. I think a classic example of this is Olli Bronniman (think it is), classed as an import in the EIHL but played 2yrs+ as a junior in the UK so classed as a Brit in the EPL.
