I'd like to add my thanks to Dan "Budzy" MacKriel for everything that he has done for hockey in Telford through the years.
He has been an absolute star for us, both as a player and as a former Captain. Everyones' best friend and always the first to get the team going. He will leave a very big pair of skates to be filled next year.
Enjoy your retirement mate and congratulations on getting married.

Very sorry to see Budzy go, he wasn't just a good player but he was also a team player, the kind that sparks the rest of the team and gets them fired up.
However I fully understand his decision. It's easy to forget the sacrifice hockey players make at this level. It must be difficult to work a 9 to 5 job five days a week, with late night training two or three times on top of that, then give up every weekend for half a year to play matches and find the time to socialise with friends and spend time with the family.
Thanks for all you've done for the club Budz, and best of luck for the future.
