Tom announced after the Legends game that Declan Ryan will be back with the Tigers for the 2011/2012.
Excellent news.

Absolutely great news, I agree. I got to meet him yesterday and he is a terrific guy. His play has really come on.

Fantastic news.......Dec had a great season. Impressed more and more with every game I saw him play, and along with Tom and Scott I'm sure he will prove to be a key signing. I half expected him to be picked up by one of the big boys! Welcome back Dec.......it's good to have you back on board!!! Hope it's a 5 year deal

Welcome back Dec! Was very impressed by what I saw from him last season Now, following his stellar performance last night, will Dan Mackriel be making a comeback from retirement as our back-up goalie? ;D

Great news that Dec will be back with us. He gets my personal vote for the most improved player of the season.

Dec has to be a key signing for the Tigers, and I know his signature was courted by a number of higher placed teams.
We've done well to retain Dec, and I think with a full season under his belt (assuming he'll be the first choice starter) he'll continue to develop and go from strength to strength. Over the years I've had the privilege of working with many great players, and for someone as young as Dec (he only turned 18 mid season) he has maturity, poise and composure far in excess of his young years.
Welcome back Dec :-)

We've done well to retain Dec, and I think with a full season under his belt (assuming he'll be the first choice starter)... If Dec is to be the starter, what are our chances of retaining Clarkson as well? I thought they worked well as a partnership last season, but obviously both of them would want as many starts as possible and if we're making Dec the dedicated starter for 2011/12 I can see Marty moving elsewhere Anyway, heard a rumour that Barry Hollyhead may be coming home from Milton Keynes...Dec as starter, with Barry as mentor and backup perhaps?

I heard a whisper last weekend that Martin had taken a step back from hockey to concentrate on his Studies...I'm not sure how true this is to be?
I also heard that Barry will be coming back and looking to play a small role letting Dec take the starters spot.
