Wasn't sure where to put this so I'll put it in here
I've always been a really big hockey fan and it never fails to cheer me up. Recently I have had some quite bad health problems and have had a couple of breaks at Grays because it's about the easiest, nicest and cheapest place to get to on the train from where I live in Cheshire.
Last weekend I was in Telford having some time out and had no idea what to do with myself, so I wandered over to the rink on the off-chance that there might be a game on. I was lucky that the Titans were playing (and against the evil Blackburn!). They came from 0-3 down to win 5-4 and it was a brilliant match. I loved the whole thing, right down to their jerseys! I tried to buy one but no one knew where I could get one.
Yesterday I was feeling a bit bleurgh again and looked into various sporting options - turned out it was cheaper to come all the way to Telford to see the Tigers than it was to go to a local football match, so that's what I decided to do. Now, the awkward thing about this is that I actually support Manchester Phoenix, due to my location, but I became a Tigers rent-a-fan for the night ;D
I even got my Titans jersey when your very kind shop owner yanked the last one out of a glass case in reception for me.
So, I thought I would introduce myself as the Titans's latest fan, who can't quite support the Tigers as that would mean suporting 20% of the league (LOL!!). But I can promise that I am keeping an eye out for you, as I really enjoyed coming. I note that the Titans don't appear to have their own website or anything so I will have to hang about here
p.s. Is it true that Roary is really Karol Jets?!
