That's pretty disappointing. Dan would have been towards the top of my list of players to re-sign.
Still, you can't deny him an opportunity in the Elite league.
Good luck Dan, and thanks for your efforts during 2010/2011.

If we're being honest I think we all knew that at least one of our top young players would be snapped up by a bigger club this summer.
Best of luck Dan.

Spoke to Dan last weekend at the Legends game, and it was staggering to hear the list of teams that was chasing his signature.
For me, however, the really good thing to hear from him was that regardless of the money being thrown at him or the offers he had he only ever saw his future either in the EIHL or with Telford in the EPL, he wasn't interested in playing anywhere else.
One of the objectives of the trust was to give British players a platform to gain experience, to continue their development and to ultimately enable them to make the next step if they were able or chose to. Dan has done this after just a single season with us, so I think that's a firm pat on the back for our coach, board and trust as a whole.
Dan said that his season as a Tiger was by far the most fun season he's ever enjoyed. It's really good to hear comments like that from players moving on, and hopefully he'll have no hesitation in recommending our team and organisation to any of the other aspiring young talent who too are looking to make names for themselves and are looking for an opportunity to showcase themselves somewhere in the EPL.
