Personally I think an import goalie is not a good idea. It makes line options restrictive. It would be nice to see a home-grown goalie playing for the Tigers. I remember seeing Barry progress and I would have liked to see Ben Hunt step up to the Tigers.
That said, I hope Greg enjoys his time in Telford and plays well.

But on the other side of the coin having two quality netminders in Greg and Dec can be a good thing as they'll both have to be on their toes to try and get starts. Plus the 4 skater imports we've got will also be looking over their shoulders to retain their places on the team sheet. I think I'm correct in saying that this means we will need a 3rd keeper because an import goalie counts towards the 4 Non-EIHA Trained player rule even if they're sat on the bench backing up a Brit. As for the shirts, they're very nice. My personal favourite is the cup shirt because it's so different to anything we've had for a while. |
