According to EPL Statsman, the Tigers have completed the roster by re-signing Mike Jones and signing ex-Titans and ENL Blaze N/M Josh Nichols and ex ENL Blaze D-Man Ryan Selwood.
If this is true, that's the full squad, which I think looks pretty impressive and I cannot wait to see how they translate, what looks on paper to be a very good squad, onto the ice.
What does everyone else think?

They don't appear to be spectacular signings, but then again the core of the squad have already signed. I expect Jones and Selwood to be the third defensive pairing and Nicholls will back up Ryan when Blais isn't on the teamsheet when we ice 4 non-EIHA skaters according to the article. My assessment of the squad this season would be that it looks a bit better than last seasons. On paper I think Hanzal looks like an upgrade on Maslovskis and Senko can't do worse than Chris Allen did in his brief spell with us . We've also retained the vast majority of last year's Brits which I think is great as they did so well for us last season, and we've gained Dean Holland who I expect to be a quality player for us. Plus we've got Marek back, which should give us a bit more firepower. That being said, the rest of the league has improved as well. The key for me is how well the new imports settle in...if they click with the rest of the squad then I can see us in a race for a playoff spot.

Team looks very good, but in a way i hope they are not fantastic - this may sound weird, but look what happened to Caselles (?) last year. If other teams swoop in would we finacally be able to hang onto any targeted player. But conversly if players from the likes of coventry and nottingham improve vastly then other teams may see us a good 'grounding' for other players, and send more guys for ice time which would benefit us, the player and the 'loan' team, what do you reckon?

Sounds like good logic to me Tigershots.
I will be happy to once again, not finish bottom, which is where everyone on the THF Predictions thread seems to think that we'll be. I will be ecstatic if we make the play-offs. I think that this years squad gives us a better chance of making play-off hockey than we've had in a while. Probably since Cassells got poached.
I know that I am only one amongst many who is itching to see the new team out on the ice and to see how they gel together.
Whatever the season outcome, I am just missing my hockey-fix.

I think there are many reasons to be positive about how the boys will do this season. The core of the team is essentially the same....on D we may've lost Dan Scott but we've gained Senko. A fair swop I'd say... Up front we've got Marek back and replaced Maslovskis with Hanzal. Again, no complaints. Holland looks like a good acquisition and an improvement on Calvert. Brittle, Henry and Bruce should be even better after a full year in EPL, and the 2x lads from Notts will do well too. Although other teams have strengthened, IMO Tigers have made a significant improvement and I think they should be mighty disappointed should they not reach the playoffs.....let alone pick up the wooden spoon! I for one can't wait for the new season to start....I think EVERY team in the EPL will know they've been in a game when they play the Tigers

I will be happy where ever we finish, if we give 210% like we did last season then thats good enough for me. Of course I have do have an eye on the play-offs and Coventry, man it would be mind blowing for us to be there, don't think I'd sleep for a month. All I ask of the lads is to give there all and lets show the league TELFORD ARE HERE TO STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
