According to a report in the Star last night Titans have had to cancel their opening two ENL1 North games against Blackburn and Sheffield due to an issue with player registrations.
They only have six players registered apparently, and Fielder blamed the cost of the registrations (over £100 each) and players being on holiday for the majority of his squad not having them.
In my opinion they should be made to forfeit the first two games or play them with the 6 they have registered and a few call ups from the junior side. Titans must have known the registration deadline when they agreed to take their place in the league, and the players not being able to afford the fee is no excuse given that most of the Northern section of the ENL is pay to play and none of the other clubs have had this problem (that I know of).
