Liked the spotlights on goals idea and using the Fanfare from Fanfare for the Common Man was good (if a little muted). 'Eye of The Tiger' got lost somewhere in the Team intros which was not so good. The individual announcements started off well but due to the number of players lost a bit of enthusiasm by the end. Still good to try something a bit different Pity the team didn't match the intros! (still early days!)

We've still got to play around with the settings a little, don't know if anybody noticed but the rink have invested in upgrading the PA system and have had all the speakers and cards done for the main speaker banks that are suspended from the roof rafters.
These speaker banks haven't worked for the best part of 10 years, but it's all been upgraded so the DJ has some new dials to play with and we have the facility (once we get the levels right) to really crank up the volume!!
Intro's will be short next weekend, albeit the same format, they were slightly longer this week as we were trying to introduce all the new players properly to the fans. Next week it's number, sponsor, player name and out.

Daft thing is that the ladders to spotlights were condemnded by the HSE and removed, but the spotlights and the ganrty's themselves are OK!!
If the rink (and it's down to the rink as to whether they can get used) are able to bring in correct ladders and can find operators then yes. We were supposed to have had the spots last night but sadly the operator was unavoidably detained at the last minute.

I thought it was very good topbeats, and yes the PA was clearer, although I'm not sure whether that was down to the fact that you spoke at a slower pace than Shuttie used to ;D.
