Now living in Edinburgh, I was a long-term fan during the Chuck days but have been following Tigers' progress. This season's team looked good on paper, but results have been disastrous (with the odd exception of the Flames game). How are regular fans seeing things? I'm hoping to catch a game at the end of the month when I visit Shropshire. Can I look forward to it?

As another long distance fan, I've only managed to get to one game so far (sadly not the away win at Guildford).
What I saw was a team that look to have a lot of promise when they click, as a team.
In my opinion, the guys are still learning what each other are going to do in any given situation, but when they do, I think that we could see a really good team.
While an away win at Guildford is always (very) nice, I think it may have raised peoples expectations a little bit too much.
We are still a team that has a whole lot less money to spend than some other teams (Guildford for example) but we proved last season that on the right day, we are capable of taking on any team in the league.
I, for one, can see a lot of potential. I hope that the team can gel sooner, rather than later and if they do, then yes, I think you can look forward to it. As in any sport, only time will tell, but if nothing else, you will see a team that doesn't know when to give up and give their utmost until the final buzzer.

SHREK, Second everything you said. At the end of each shift when the guys rotate, the frustration is plain to see and hear :-). They want to win as much as we do, they are not just making up the numbers.

I try to look at it this way ... Everyone expects (including themselves) teams such as Guildford and Manchester to win every weekend. So last Sunday at Telford was "as expected" to put it another way, nothing exeptional to Guildford. When a team like ours gets a win, who ever the opponent, it is exeptional as no one thinks we will win. It really is a no pressure position to be in with with regard to expectations. As the season(s) progress, the expectation will increase. This is the long term plan .... So long as the commitment and effort is there from the guys, that is all we can ask.
