We have 3 imports signed and when asked at the AGM Tom said he's presently in ongoing negotiations with Marek, so where would that leave a back-up import netminder who has (reportedly) been signed by an un-named EPL team months ago...?

hmmm, and if the Greg Blais rumour is true, what do you think to having an import goal keeper? :S especially when having a good young brit keeper I'm in two minds about it. On one hand I don't like the idea of sacrificing an import skater for a goalie, especially when Dec Ryan proved good enough for the EPL last season. But on the other hand perhaps having an import breathing down his neck for the starting netminder slot will improve Dec's game even more? Also, we don't know what terms Blais could have signed on (if he has signed). Perhaps he's only being paid expenses? Perhaps he only gets paid when he plays? We'll just have to wait and see. Either way I trust the coach to sign the right players, given the good job he did last season.

Hmm good point, it can only improve dec's game but still could be a waste of an on ice import when played :S

With the start of season drawing ever nearer, appears Tigers have a few spots to fill, on the D I would suggest, anyone got on thoughts? Apart from Sloff we appear to have signed the fewest out and out D men so far, unless you count Janek, will he be a F or D this season. Thought he did an outstanding job last season on the blue line.

I'd imagine our last d-man (assuming we're going with 5, with Janak on the blue line) will be someone like Dan Harrison or James Warman. I can't imagine there's much cash left to bring someone in from outside Telford considering TW has signed most of the squad, including 3/4/5 imports (depending on which rumours are true ;D).
I also think we need another forward to bring us up to 3 lines with one "extra" player.

Paul didn't impress me at all. I know he had limited ice time but so to did Adam Taylor but think Adam was by far more a dangerous player to have on the ice.
If he does sign for Telford I do hope that my first impression of him was a wrong impression and he proves me wrong.

He doesn't live in Blackburn, he lives local (Telford) and was commuting. Edited to add: Paul Rigby is former Telford junior, last year (IIRC) was his first season away from the Telford set-up.
